Happy Wednesday, friends! I’ve been on a little hiatus so please forgive me! My husband and I took a few days off to visit some sweet friends at their new lake house. And what a treat it was to get away! But, now we are back and I wanted to share with you a quick and easy Easter Centerpiece! Come see!
I’m not sure if we plan to spend Easter at our main house or at the lake house, so in any case, I decided to whip up an easy little Easter centerpiece that I can leave here or take with us to the lake. I started with this vintage pedestalthat I purchased a few month ago from an antique store. It’s very large and is very versatile.. Then I added these three garden rabbits I’ve had for years. (They were originally purchased as a set from BJ’s Warehouse Club but any bunnies will do!)
The bunnies each wear a ribbon or necklace around their necks for a bit of texture and fun. Then I simply added some faux green Easter grass and some wrapped chocolate Lindor Eggs. So easy!
The centerpiece is fun and fairly neutral. Of course you could use smaller bunnies and add a cloche or even a wreath around the base of the pedestal. And if you don’t have a pedestal, a pretty tray would look lovely too!
Our sweet grandson was here today and he kept wanting me to take him over to look at the bunnies. Thank goodness he doesn’t know what chocolate is yet, or I’m sure he’d want one of these Lindor chocolates! (At a mere 170 calories per egg!)
I keep toying with the urge to paint the bunnies my favorite color, called Heirloom White. What do you think? Leave them their original color or go for it and paint them white? Help me decide! Well, I need to start cleaning the house and unpack our suitcases. And as fun as it is to go on vacation, it’s even better to come home! Have a great evening friends! Let’s chat soon! xoxo Dell
