Happy weekend, sweet friends! I’ve been so busy this past week that I haven’t been on here much at all. But, just in time for the big game this weekend, I thought I’d share a great dip recipe! It’s a Jalapeño Popper Dip. Come check it out!
My husband found this recipe on Instagram from a guy he follows. We tried it out during the football playoffs and it’s DELICIOUS! So, without further ado, here’s the recipe! (By cooking with_darryl on Instagram.)
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 jalapeno peppers, diced (remove seeds and membrane if you want it milder)
- ½ sweet onion diced
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 Tablespoons Ranch seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 3 slices cooked and chopped bacon
DIRECTIONS:
1-Chop jalaneno peppers
2-Combine jalapeno peppers, onion, cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and cheeses. Top with bacon bits.
3-Bake at 450 degree oven for 20 minutes.
4–Serve and enjoy!
So simple, right? The first time we made it we used a LOT of the jalapeño seeds and it definitely had a kick. This time we used a little less and it was perfect! If you make it in a baking dish you can reheat it in the microwave as needed. Or, you can prepare it and put it in a crock pot so it stays warm. Happy Super Bowl weekend and I hope your team wins!
Let’s chat again next week! Much love, Dell
