Happy Tuesday, Friends! I was going to share something completely different today but as I was browsing on my computer with my coffee this morning I ran across a blog post by Bless’er House and her new mirror gallery wall. Want to see a few of my favorites? (including hers?)
I love antiques and I love antique mirrors even more! And what could make a bigger impact than a collection of mirrors on one wall? So, here is Bless’er House’s gallery wall of mirrors in her dining room. Isn’t it so pretty? One could easily mix vintage and new mirrors for a similar look. Love it! She said her trick is to cut out the shape of each mirror and tape it to the wall until you get the perfect arrangement. Great idea!
This wall of mirrors above the bed is by Cindy via Edith and Evelyn Vintage. I love the semitry of the mirrors and of course the gold leaf is beautiful. (Her entire house is gorgeous if you want to get lost for a long while you can scroll through her house room by room.)
I love how someone decorated this wall of mirrors using an assortment of vintage hand held mirrors and small ornate framed mirrors. Wouldn’t this look darling in a small powder room? (I’m not sure who took this picture but I found it on Pinterest so my apologies for no photo credit.)
This wall of mirrors is by Kindred Vintage and probably my favorite. I love how they stacked the mirrors from floor to ceiling.
It could also have something to do with that drop dead gorgeous chandelier… Next house goals.
And this picture by Traditional Homes. I love the dark green walls and how the mirrors walk up the steps with you. (and that little cutie peeking out is precious!)
I believe this picture below is the first thing I ever “pinned” on Pinterest. Ok. Maybe this one is my favorite!
Below is my dining room. I’ve been toying with the idea of replacing the pieces inside the large frame with smaller pieces and mirrors. I’ve been itching to try my hand at a gallery wall, and now I have tons of inspiration! What do you think?
On a side note, here is how I found the frame. I bought it at an antique store in North Carolina and hauled it to Pennsylvania. Lacey thinks a portrait of her would look nice. I agree, but decided to go in a slightly different direction this time.
Here are a few more inspiration gallery walls for your viewing pleasure. (and mine.) Via Pinterest.
A lovely mix of mirrors and pictures…
I like how they mixed mirrors and frames in this one. This would be so adorable in a nursery…
Okay, this could be a tie. Which is your favorite? I would be perfectly content with either or both in my next home. You?
Do you have a gallery wall in your home? Do you have a mirror gallery wall? Do tell! Thank you for stopping by! I love it when I hear from you. I hope you have a great day and that you don’t have to go to the dentist. xoxo Dell
