Happy Tuesday, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday! We sure did and boy did we pack it all in this past weekend! Not only did we celebrate Easter, but we also celebrated my dear Mother-in-law’s 90th birthday on Saturday. Come check out our easy party decorations!
For my MIL’s 90th birthday party, I wanted it to feel festive but not over the top. (Unlike a baby shower, LOL.) When I was at Walmart I picked up this 35 piece kit for just over $7. Since pink is my favorite color (and I believe my MIL’s as well) I chose this set. It came with balloons and some little glitter confetti, but I just decided to use the banner and the fans and balls.

I assembled the puff balls and the fans in just seconds and attached them to my dining room chandelier by the strings already attached to the fans and balls. Easy peasy! And just a pretty pop of color!
Since it was also Easter weekend I left the centerpiece on the table with my bunnies and some Easter grass. I set the table with a ruffled table cloth, gold chargers and my Mother-in-law’s china that she gave me a few years ago. I thought she would enjoy seeing her old china, and she did!
I didn’t take a picture, but behind the table I hung the colored banner that came with this set of balloons, etc and added a separate Happy Birthday banner on top. I just used tape to secure it. Then we added a few black and white framed photos here and there too. After I took all of the decorations down the day after, I decided to leave up the chandelier decorations for another day just for fun. I do LOVE pink….
For under $10 I was able to add some fun pops of color and decorations to our dining room for the birthday party. And the nice thing is I can reuse these same decorations in the future if I want!
Well, speaking of decorating, I need to decorate my terrace and veranda for spring. Off to Lowe’s! I’ll share with you soon what I do! Until the, may the good Lord take a liking to you! (From me and Roy Rogers.) xoxo Dell
