Happy Saturday, friends! Last week I made homemade bread for the first time! This recipe only uses 4 ingredients and couldn’t be easier! Come check it out!
I’ve been seeing tons of homemade bread on Instagram lately and I decided to give it a try!
Below is the link to the recipe. (at the bottom in green) Just click on the link and it will give detailed instructions. It tends to be a bit wordy, but it’s really not that complicated. My tip before beginning is to make sure you have a proper Dutch Oven that is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 475 degrees. I only had one pot that I thought would work so I crossed my fingers not knowing if the pot would melt or explode. Neither happened, thank goodness! I do think I will invest in one before I attempt to make bread again. This is the pot I used and it was the perfect size for one loaf of bread. (I’m glad nothing happened to this pot because it’s so pretty.)
Doesn’t this look impressive? LOL. The only thing that takes any amount of time is allowing the dough to sit overnight. I left mine out on the counter for 3 hours then transferred it to the refrigerator over night, per the instructions. Then I didn’t bake it until another day later. It says you can hold it in the fridge for up to 3 days before baking.
I served it with my homemade Minestrone Soup and it was delicious! Well, I’m off to the airport to pick up my hubby! Hope you have a WONDERFUL DAY! xoxox Dell (recipe below)
