Happy Wednesday to you! I thought I’d quickly share with you my favorite cleaning products. (Actually an oxymoron because I don’t enjoy cleaning) However, I discovered Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day cleaning products and soaps over a year ago and I was sold! Now they have replaced all of the soaps in my home! Here’s where to find them…
I read about Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day products online about a year or so ago and ordered some. Instantly I fell in love! My two favorite scents are lavender and basil. The products are made in America and contain all biodegradable ingredients. There are no harsh chemicals, artificial colors or chlorine. And the hand soap contains olive oil and aloe vera so it’s extra gentle on your hands and smells divine!
I discovered my grocery store doesn’t carry Mrs. Meyer’s products but our local Target and Ace Hardware do carry them. So yesterday I was at Ace Hardware and they had the soaps on sale for $1 off. Normally a 12.5 ounce container of soap is $4.59 so I thought I was getting a great deal for just $3.59 each. I bought a set of matching hand soap, dish soap and surface cleaner all for $12.17. (basil scent) And they also now carry a 32 ounce refill for the surface cleaner for around $8.99.
I have a silver tray by the sink in the kitchen where I house all of my soaps and cleaning products. This way they are always handy. And practically anything can look pretty on a silver tray, right? (Whenever the tray gets a little tarnished or rusty, I give it a quick scrub with an SOS pad and it does the trick.) I just learned there is a peony scent! Here are some of my peonies from earlier this year…
Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day also carries a line of coordinating products such as hand lotions, laundry detergents, air fresheners, candles and more. There are approximately 20 scents and they have a new Peppermint scent just in time for Christmas. Last year I bought the Iowa Pine set and loved it! For fall they carry an orange clove scent that smells wonderful too! If you go to their website mrsmeyers.com you can buy matching sets of kitchen basics for $10.99 plus shipping. I like how they call their products “hardworking home-keeping.”
On the mrsmeyers website you can also find these nice cleaning gift baskets for $31.99 that come with a cute metal pail. Wouldn’t this make a great housewarming gift? You can also buy the pail separately. That way, you could make your own little gift basket and maybe add a few fun dish towels and candles?
So, even though house cleaning is a chore, you can use these products with confidence knowing they will gently clean your surfaces such as granite, porcelain, floors, bathroom fixtures, tiles etc. And they smell great too! The multi- surface cleaner comes in a 16 ounce spray bottle and the instructions say when the bottle is empty simply add four tablespoons of the Multi-Surface Concentrate to half a bottle of water. “Effective, easy and thrifty” like the label proclaims! I understand there is a refill for the hand soap now too! Here is a little Halloween fun for the powder room:
Thank you for stopping by today! Do you love Mrs. Meyer’s products too? What’s your favorite scent? I hope you have a lovely day! xo Dell
