A few days ago we had a baby shower for my niece and her new baby boy! They received lots of adorable gifts, but one of my favorite gifts to give these days is a Chewbead necklace!
I discovered the Chewbead necklace about a year ago after reading about it in a magazine. It has become my go-to for baby showers and gifts. I love to give unique yet useful gifts and everyone I’ve given one to seems to love it!
The necklaces and bracelet beads are made of soft, non-toxic silicone similar to materials found in pacifiers and teething rings. They contain no chemicals and are soft on baby’s gums and emerging teeth. I like the fact they are easy to clean with soap and water and are dishwasher safe.
The necklaces come in all sorts of vibrant colors and styles. Prices range between $20-40 and can be found on Amazon or at www.chewbeads.com. (The ones I’ve purchased have been around the $35 range.) Breakaway clasps and ultra strong cording and knotting makes them very safe. However, it is not a toy. Adult supervision is required. But isn’t this a great idea? A statement necklace that looks great and keeps baby occupied and soothed. Win-win!
I’ve given the Chewbead necklace as gifts three times so far. If you know the sex of the baby that can help with your color choice and style selection. And they are now available in your favorite Major League Baseball colors! Check these out for your next baby gift or shower. I guarantee the recipient will love it!
