Happy Thursday, friends! How’ve you been? We’ve been busy keeping our little grandson but I did find time to decorate our front porch for Fall this week! Come check out our fall decorations!
Our front porch was looking a little sad and neglected so I decided it was time to spruce it up a bit for fall by adding some pops of color. I ordered some pretty new fall wreaths a month ago and they are STILL not here! So, I added these little orange wreaths to my existing greenery wreaths to beef them up a bit. If and when the new wreaths get here I’ll replace them, but apparently they are coming from China. On a slow boat as they say. These will do for now!
To the left of the double doors I added three pumpkins stacked on top of one another. And for the urns I bought a couple of hanging baskets of yellow mums. I like to buy hanging baskets because they are usually so nice and full all around. I simply cut off or remove the hanger and pop the flower pot directly in the urn. (Note: I add a little potting soil in the urn in order to raise up the pot to the proper height.) I also like to buy mums that still have lots of buds so they will last longer.
To the right of the doors I added a mum to the urn and set one on the floor beside my rabbit.. Two pretty heirloom pumpkins add a pop of color to this side.
I tied a cute orange plaid ribbon around the bunny’s neck so he looks nice and festive!
And here is the finished front porch! All ready for fall! Now if my new wreaths would just get here!
I also bought a flat of white pansies and some cabbage and ivy which I’ll share with you soon. Hint: They went into my secret garden!
What do you think about my super simple fall porch? Do you decorate for Fall or Halloween or both? Do tell! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Hugs! Dell
