Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! If you are like me, you probably have your grocery shopping done and preparations for the big day are under way. My family is hosting back to back Thanksgiving dinners, one on Thursday and one on Friday. Forty people in all! So, here are a few Thanksgiving table centerpiece ideas to help you plan for your big dinner!
My husband loves to deep fry our turkeys which is great for me! Not only are they delicious, but it frees up the oven inside for the side dishes. Each year we have the same meal for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Do other people do that too? We always have turkey, dressing, rice, gravy, green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole. Plus, we love olives so we have those along with celery stuffed with pimento cheese and dinner rolls.
Soon I will share my stuffing recipe which is a family favorite. It actually came from my Mother-in-law and she gave it to me years ago. We love it because it is really moist and flavorful. And it’s great on a turkey sandwich the day after!
I like to set the table ahead of time so I can enjoy looking at it for a while. Plus it allows me to concentrate on the actual food prep on the big day. Or big days! This year I finally broke down and bought a second table cloth so I can switch it out after the first meal. On Friday we will have 2 tables set up so that will be really fun! The more the merrier!
Here is the dining room all decked out for the big meal:

I have another table that I”ll share with you tomorrow. It will feature my pilgrim and indian candles and a centerpiece with floating candles. And perhaps a few beautiful leaves from the yard. Happy Wednesday! Thanks so much for stopping by!
