Hi, sweet friends and happy Thursday! Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite go-to gifts! It’s Michel Design Works soap products! Come check them out!
Don’t you hate to go to someone’s house empty handed? I usually offer to make a side dish or dessert when we’re invited to someone’s house for dinner, or at least take a bottle of wine. But sometimes there are other occasions, such as a house warming party, birthday or other special occasion that warrants a gift. Even when someone says, “Please no gifts” I’ve learned that most people don’t listen to that so now I err on the side of caution and take a small gift anyway. Now this is my favorite gift to buy and I even keep a few on hand just in case. It’s Michel Design Works Soaps! And who doesn’t like pretty soaps with lovely scents?
I first discovered Michel Designs soaps at my local Hallmark store years ago when we lived in Pennsylvania. Their soaps come in very pretty containers featuring the scent of the soap and has their signature elephant medallion stamped on each bottle. These .84 fluid ounce containers usually run around $15.
I just discovered that Amazon carries these soaps as well and they offer a set of three soaps for $38 making each bottle around $12.50, so there is a little savings. Especially if you love a particular scent it would be worth buying in bulk.
Recently I found these soap and napkin caddies locally at a novelty shop in Denver, NC called, “Strawberry Fields”. They offer this set for around $26 making it a perfect gift for someone special. I bought one of these sets for my sister a few weeks ago when I went to stay with her for a few days. She ended up putting hers in her guest bathroom on the counter. The great thing about a set like this is once the napkins are gone, you can replace them with more Michel Design Works napkins or simply white ones you can find at your grocery store. And you can also refill the soap and keep reusing the caddy!
Michel Design Works also makes a hand soap and lotion set, available in a neat little caddy. Wouldn’t this be perfect in a bathroom or beside your kitchen sink?
There are even large, elegant matching bar soaps! These soaps are around $14 each.
At Christmas they make pretty gift combinations of soaps and lotions that are great for gift giving too!
I like to pair my Michel Design Works hand soap and bar soap together on a little silver tray in my bathrooms. Of course I leave the bar soap in its original wrapper so it looks pretty with the coordinating foaming hand soap. And honestly no one really uses a bar of soap at a sink anymore, right? They even make a pretty one for Spring or Easter with darling little bunnies on it. (I got one for my sweet Mother-in-Law for her birthday. Shhhh!)
There are SO many pretty mix and match opportunities with Michel Design Works products, so you can create your own special gift that is personal and unforgettable. They make paper napkins, hand soap, bar soap, lotions, trays to hold the soap, caddies, air fresheners, candles and even journals! All in coordinating patterns. If you live near Denver, NC be sure to check out Strawberry Fields or check with your nearest Hallmark Store. Or, you can order them on Amazon and get free delivery with Prime for about the same price as the stores. But personally, I like to shop local!
Well, if you are looking for a pretty and practical gift that almost anyone will love, be sure to check out MDW! This post is not sponsored in any way, but I do LOVE their products and I think you will too! I hope you have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by! Much Love, Dell
