Happy Thanksgiving, friends! Are you getting ready for the holidays? And cold weather? What better way to get cozy during the cold winter months is with a cup of hot chocolate! Come see how easy it is to make a hot chocolate bar!
A few days ago I hit up my local Walmart @walmart in search of things to put in my hot cocoa bar. I found some hot chocolate packets from Starbucks, some cute gingerbread cookies, some candy canes, chocolates and marshmallows.
I started with a pretty silver tray as my base. Then, using pretty glass containers I had on hand, like this apothacary jar, I added some mini marshmallows and tied a red ribbon on the top of the lid. I had a few pretty cut glass candy jar my Mother gave me years ago and tied a ribbon around the lid as well and filled with Godiva chocolates, also from Walmart. I had some extra spice jars and I filled each one with ground cinnamon and nutmeg and put the labels that came with them on the front of the jars. Now, we can just shake a bit of yummy flavor on top of our hot cocoa!
I added some cute vintage decorations to the tray too just for fun. Isn’t this little elf precious?
I added some fresh holly from my yard and some Christmasy picks with red and gold for a punch of color and fun. Easy!
I found these darling santa mugs at the consignment store for $5 each. We love using large mugs so these are perfect!
I put the hot cocoa bar in our Butler’s Pantry for easy and quick access. Just add hot water, chocolate mix and some yummy toppings and it will keep you toasty and warm even on the coldest days! I hope you all have a WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING! Hugs and love, Dell

I just love this, Dell! And I really love the elf. Takes me back to my childhood.
Awe, thank you Helen! The elves remind me of my childhood too! My Aunts used to collect them, so I started. This little guy is my favorite!
