At long last! This room has been in the works for a LONG time. Years really. So, I’m finally getting my crafts together in one spot. Can’t wait to finish! Hurry up and dry paint!
This is actually supposed to be a sitting room in our master bedroom. But, really and truly, how many places does one need to sit? So, this has been a catch all for my projects in the making and my treasures that need a little tlc. It got so cluttered that I couldn’t actually work on anything in here! That changes today!
So, instead of doing this: Free Chaise Lounges!
I’m doing this:
I cleared most everything out first. I like the little wall cubby on the wall to the left and I know it is secure in studs so I’m leaving it where it is. Plus it will be right over the craft table so it will be perfect. Everything else played musical furniture.
A friend of mine gave me this table a few years ago. I liked the white legs but decided to update the top with some black chalk paint. When it dries I’ll rub on a coat of wax to seal it and make it more durable.
I brought a few of my plastic containers up from the gift wrap station. Now, crafts will be with crafts and gift wrap with gift wrap! I’ll just need to label the other bins.
I’m going to hang a huge bulletin board that another sweet friend gave me. I’ll use it as my inspiration board. It weighs a ton so I’ll need to get my husband to help. Check out how I Finish the Hobby Room!
Meanwhile, Happy 4th of July everyone! God bless you and God Bless America!
