Happy Tuesday, friends! I thought I would give you a heads up on Easter by sharing these adorable little Easter goodies I found yesterday at Dollar Tree. Come check out my Dollar Tree Easter items!
Yesterday I stopped by our local Dollar Tree in hopes of scoring some cute St. Patrick’s Day napkins, and plates, etc. Well, they hardly had anything left and it’s only the beginning of March! The cashier said they put the St. Patty’s Day merchandise out in mid January and it was gone by the end of the month. Lesson learned. But, they did have tons of Easter things and were putting out more.
My grandson just turned one so he is really too little for most Easter things. I did find this darling little Easter Basket for $1. It’s soft and made of cloth with a handle so he can play with it without hurting himself on a plastic basket or bucket. They were also available in pink, lavender and the blue gingham as shown here. Cute, right?
Then they had these cute little bunny ears, also available in different pastel colors. Of course I got the blue ones. When you turn the headband around, the bunnies have little white cotton tails. So cute! They also had regular bunny ear headbands in blue, lavender and pink.
Dollar Tree had a large selection of plastic Easter Eggs. Everything from the typical brightly colored eggs, to pastels, and then one’s that were shaped like animals. They pull apart like the eggs do, so you can hide candy or a toy inside, depending on the age of the recipient. I’m not sure what we will put inside for our grandson, since everything that might fit is still a choking hazard. So, they may be empty and just decorations and something to play with. But cute, right? A package of 4 for $1. If you are doing multiple Easter Baskets, you could put in each basket to spread them out.
Then they had some paper Easter plates and napkins and some fun table cloths. They had Easter activity books, little wind up hopping toys and other fun little basket stuffers. I bought the little hopping chick thinking our grandson would enjoy watching it hop about.
So, if you want to score some of the cute and inexpensive Easter baskets and fillers, hop on over to Dollar Tree before they sell out! Yesterday the selection was still very good and they seemed to be well stocked. But, Easter is only a month away, so I’m guessing this stuff will go quickly. Especially the cute stuff!
Well, lucky for me our grandson can’t read quite yet, so this will still be a surprise for him! But I wanted to share it with you so you could get in on the good deals! I hope you have a hoppy day! Let’s chat soon! Much love, Dell
