Good morning! I hope the sun is shining where you are! Today I thought I’d share an adorable beverage dispenser I found at a thrift store recently. As soon as I saw it, I couldn’t resist!
I don’t know about you, but when I find something unique AND for a great price I snag it on the spot! This is what happened when I saw this cute beverage dispenser at the thrift store. It was a whopping $12! I knew I could use it for family gatherings at the lake house. It’s great when we have a crowd to have self-serve drinks, therefore drink dispensers are perfect to have on hand.
I have a glass Pottery Barn beverage dispenser and stand that I bought years ago. It stays at the lake and I like to fill it with ice water infused with slices of lemons, limes and oranges. I love the galvanized stand that the oversized mason jar sits on. My tip? Don’t fill the glass jar with hot tea. Another tip? Bed, Bath & Beyond sells a glass dispenser that fits the Pottery Barn galvanized base in case yours breaks too.
My new beverage dispenser is approximately 21 inches tall and holds about a gallon of liquid. I put tea in it for the picture and for us to enjoy over the weekend.
The top lifts off and there is a sleeve that unscrews so you can add ice to keep the drinks cold.
I like that it says, “Thirst Extinguisher” on the front. I think for the summer it will be perfect filled with fresh lemonade and slices of lemons floating around. (We like the Minute Maid instant lemonade.)
At the lake house I have a large white ceramic tea dispenser that I bought for $10 at an antique store. It says “Republic of Tea” on it and has a white lid. This one is not see thru, but since it states that it is tea, it’s all good. Now I have a dispenser for tea, lemonade and water! Hmmm. I’m thinking we can use our newly renovated serving station as our drink station! What do you think? There is even a bottle opener!
With summer quickly approaching, I can see us spending lots of time outdoors with a cool drink in hand and people and boat watching from the deck. Ahhhh. We can’t wait!
Thank you for stopping by and supporting my little blog! Please share me with your friends! xoxo Dell
