It’s no secret I love crystal chandeliers! There is one in practically every room in our house, including bathrooms and closets. One of my favorites is hanging in our kitchen!
Years ago I found this beautiful vintage chandelier at an antique store. It was painted green and missing all of its crystals. But for $40, it was a bargain! It came home with me on the spot!
Because the chandelier was pretty old, I had it rewired. I painted it creamy heirloom white and hung it in our eating area in our kitchen. The area is vaulted so the chandelier is on a long chain and swagged over the center of the table.
The light fixture has eight arms and holes for about 80 crystals. I had a ton of vintage oblong crystals from another chandelier so I used those to fill in the holes.
I love the look of this chandelier. It is one of my favorites! When it comes time to sell our house, this might be one of the items “not consigned”. Plus, I’ve heard not everyone loves crystal chandeliers, so they may not mind. This type of chandelier is getting more and more expensive so I like to hang onto my bargains! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
