TGIF, sweet friends! You know when I find a good thing I like to pass it on to you! (Note: I”m using a good thing as a play off of you know who.) So, when I saw these beautiful fall wreaths on Facebook Marketplace, I couldn’t wait to order some for my front doors! Come see what I got!
A few months ago, in early September to be exact, I saw these gorgeous wreaths on Facebook Marketplace. They were huge, beautiful and just what I was looking for for our double doors out front. Plus, they were 50% off for a limited time. Naturally. I thought for $34 each that was a great deal. Aren’t they gorgeous?
Then, for perspective, they show this picture below. The wreath takes up the entire door, right?
Then, to entice me further, they have the amazing Martha Stewart holding one of their wreaths. (I didn’t notice at the time it was a slightly higher price, but still. Same wreath.)
Then, after waiting a month and a half for the wreaths to arrive, here’s how they look. Hmmm. Is Martha Stewart a dwarf?
And then times two. Not quite the statement I was hoping for or expecting.
Let’s compare, shall we?
To say that I was disappointed would be an major understatement. I sent an email to the seller expressing my shock and disappointment. Not only did the wreaths take a month and a half to arrive but were also a fraction of the size as advertised. And they came from China and returns were not an option. So, I”m stuck with these puny wreaths. And if you are wondering if I left them up, you know me better than that! LOL! I tried to pawn them off on my sister and she politely refused. (Who would blame her?) I guess I’ll donate them, but lesson learned. The old saying is true. If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is. So, don’t fall for those huge gorgeous wreaths on FB Marketplace! It’s a scam! Buyer beware!
Well, I hope y’all have a wonderful pre-Thanksgiving weekend! Thanks for stopping by and let’s chat again soon! Love you guys! xoxo Dell
