Other ways to cook my BBQ Dry Rub Wings!-
Grilled BBQ Chicken Wings:
Preheat your grill to a steady medium-heat. Wash and dry the chicken wings, then lightly salt and pepper them. Next, coat the wings with the dry rub mixture and place onto the grill. Rotate the wings occasionally and cook for 25-30 minutes. When you pull the wings off of the grill, toss on a little bit more dry rub and let them rest on a clean plate or tray for around 5 minutes. These should be super juicy and flavorful, while still maintaining a slight toughness with nice grill marks. Now, go eat!
Oven Baked BBQ Chicken Wings:
Preheat your oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit. Wash and dry the chicken wings, then lightly coat with salt and pepper. Spray the wings with some PAM to help the dry rub stick better, and then cover the chicken with the dry rub mixture. Place all of the wings onto a baking sheet and place into the oven for around an hour (watch them towards the end though so you don’t burn them).
This step is optional, but if you want that extra crispy baked wing, then when there is roughly 10 minutes of baking time left, pull the wings out of the oven, lift the oven rack up a few notches (moving from the middle of the oven towards the top). Then quickly put the wings back in the oven on the heightened rack and let cook for the remaining 10 minutes (make sure to watch them closely if you do this step). This process should give the baked wings a more crunchy texture on the outside. Remove from the oven and let rest for around 5 minutes. Toss some more dry rub over the resting/cooling wings and then finally, you can eat these crispy pieces of joy!
