Happy Monday, Friends! I’ve been playing hooky for a few days. My husband and I snuck off to Napa Valley for a long weekend for a bit of R&R before the wedding! Meanwhile, I’ve been meaning to share with you my favorite little night light.
When my boys were little I always had a night light in the hall way, bathrooms and their bedrooms. It made it easier for all of us to get around at night without turning on the bright overhead lights. Plus I could check on them before I went to bed without disturbing them.
Over the years, they burned out and one by one they disappeared. So, in order to keep us older folks safe in the night, I ordered some new night lights. And these are way more high tech than the old models. No tiny bulbs to keep in stock or to break. The night lights are white, simple and clean looking making them easy to use in any decor or for any age group.
I found these night lights on Amazon. (Naturally) They are by Sycees and come in a pack of 6. Not only are they inexpensive, but they are sleek looking and have dusk to dawn sensors. Automatic off and on! For a pack of 6 LED lights is $13.99 making them about $2.33 each. Also the shipping is free with Amazon Prime. So, now these little gems are in every bathroom and hallway.
I actually bought two packs of these night lights. I plan on putting some of them at Happy Hill to keep us safe there as well. And because we have lots of guests that aren’t familiar with the lake house, night lights are a great idea. The compact size and shape of the night lights will also make them easy to pop them in a suitcase and take them with you on the road. This past weekend when we were in Napa I really wish we had one of these to plug into the bathroom because it was so dark in that hotel room!
So, this week I will share a few fun pictures I took in Napa Valley. Meanwhile, my night lights are plugged in and lighting the way. Sweet dreams! xoxo Dell
