Greetings! Happy Throw Back Thursday! I’ve been crazy busy today preparing for my son’s move to D.C. In light of that, I thought I’d share a bit of nostalgia about my favorite petite crystal chandeliers!
I’ve been a fan of vintage crystal chandeliers for as long as I can remember! I hang them wherever I can. Some are hardwired and some are on a plug. Either way, they bring me such joy! Most of them are eBay purchases and some I found at antique stores. This one, however is my favorite. A dear friend gave it to me years ago. I had it put on a plug and now it hangs in my gift wrap closet. Isn’t it sweet?
This cutie hangs in my bedroom closet. I bought it at an antique store years ago. I plan on taking it with me when we move. It has delicate pink and white crystals and prisms. Wouldn’t this look darling in my granddaughter’s room? (future, yet to be named Granddaughter. Although, Hadley would be sweet….)
This little chandelier hangs in our powder room in PA. I bought it years ago at an antique store for $40. All of the crystals were intact. I love the crystal chains and the crystal ball at the bottom. Definitely a keeper. I love the vintage brass and crystal combination. Sigh.
This sweet little chandy came from eBay. It was on a plug and I had it hardwired. What is about me that changes the original state of being of things? It hangs in the master bathroom at Happy Hill. I love its unique shape and beading.
And this one is probably my most expensive petite chandelier on eBay. I got caught up in the bidding process and won in the final seconds of the bid. Perhaps why I love it so much!? Or, it could be the purple tear drop crystals. Either way, I’m totally in love with this one. It certainly makes chores more bearable with a crystal chandelier hanging over the sink. This is one of the quirky things I love about Happy Hill is this little terrarium type window over the sink.
And a few other little chandelier pics….
So many crystal chandeliers, and so little time! I hope you had a lovely Thursday. God bless and I’ll probably see you on Monday. Lots of moving and packing to do tomorrow this weekend. xoxo Dell
