Happy Tuesday! I’m a bit slow on the trigger today. After all, I had to go spinning with my spin buddies and then I had to find the dress for the wedding. But last night I tried a new super easy recipe I wanted to share! Oven Baked Chicken Recipe!
My husband and I try to eat healthy meals, at least during the week. It usually entails lots of fish, chicken and veggies. So, last night I was in a pinch to prepare a quick and easy meal. I had leftover salad from the night before and I doctored it up with a few fresh ingredients. I had some nice sized chicken breasts on hand so I googled “oven baked chicken recipes”. This is what I came up with!
This recipe is by Michele @ Flavor-Mosaic. It is super easy and good! And since I am giving Michele full recipe snaps, I’m using her exact recipe! I think you’ll love it too! (my picture by the way)
Ingredients:
*2 tablespoons olive oil
*2-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
*Sea Salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
*1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
*1/2 teaspoon paprika
*1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
Instructions:
1-Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2-Brush washed and dried chicken breasts with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Season both sides of chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic, paprika and italian seasoning.
3-In a large cast iron skillet heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat. When hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts to brown. Cook for 2 minutes on each side.
4-Place the cast iron skillet in the preheated oven and cook for an additional 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let rest for about 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
And because I had leftovers, guess what’s for dinner tonight?
I hope y’all have a great evening! Thanks as always for stopping by! xoxo Dell
