Happy Thursday, Friends! This week I’ve been sharing with you the details surrounding the bridal shower we threw last weekend for my future daughter-in-law. Today I thought I’d share the easy champagne punch recipe I used!
When I volunteered to make the champagne punch for the bridal shower, I thought it would be simple to find one that was easy to make and didn’t require a ton of ingredients. It proved a bit more difficult than I thought! Finally I found one on Pinterest. I didn’t write down the author of the recipe so I apologize in advance. I did change it a bit out of necessity, so in my husband’s book, now it’s officially my recipe. 😉
So, this is the original recipe. NOTE: I couldn’t find ready made pink lemonade so I just used a container of regular Minute Maid Lemonade off of the shelf.
EASY CHAMPAGNE PUNCH RECIPE
2 bottles of champagne (I used Moet)
48 ounces Pineapple Juice
48 ounces pink lemonade (I used regular lemonade and it was fine)
2 cans ginger ale (12 oz each)
1 cup fresh sliced strawberries (I also added a cup of fresh raspberries.)
Mix all ingredients together and chill. Enjoy!
I thought the champagne punch was delicious! My sister made another non-alchoholic punch using sherbet and it was delicious as well! We put the champagne punch in my Pottery Barn dispenser and used a punch bowl and ladle that my Mother-in-law gave me for the sherbet punch since it was chunky. (We made sure to label which punch was which using these tiny cute chalkboards from Hobby Lobby.)
We served all of the punch in vintage glass cups with dainty handles. The vintage glass plates were found at a thrift store and on eBay. Can you believe these little plates were $1? Now we have a whopping 47 glass plates to use for our next bridal or baby shower. Who’s next??
We also served coffee and ice water for those who don’t care for punch. We wanted to have a traditional shower complete with cake, punch and mints. The only thing missing I guess was the nuts! I’m kidding. Nothing was missing from this shower! My sisters and sister-in-law made sure of that! Tune in tomorrow for another fun idea for a bridal shower!
Thank you for stopping by! It means so much to me! xoxo Dell
